Trans Infopreneur Inc. is India's premier, professionally managed one-stop language specialist, providing translation, interpretation, DTP, voice-over, software localisation (L10n) and internationalisation (I18n), Web globalisation, multilingual project management, Trados TM maintenance and alignment, terminology management and associated services in over 100 Asian, European, Indian and African languages.
We have amassed India's largest, most up-to-date collection of specialised dictionaries, numbering more than 2500 in 30 plus languages. We review all translations line-by-line and compile glossaries for all large projects.
We specialise in technical, IT, patent, business, finance, medical and legal translation from European, Indian and Asian languages into English and vice versa. Our primary focus is German/French/Dutch into English, and each year we translate several million words in these pairings. In fact, our office name is Kantoor ("Office" in Dutch)!
Our company was founded in 1997 by Mr. Ashok Bagri. Mr. Bagri obtained his degree in engineering (1988) from Bangalore University, India and an MBA (1990) from the University of Chicago, USA. He received a score of 99 percentile on the GMAT.
Mr. Bagri, as part of a continuing effort to augment his localisation skills, in 2001 undertook the Graduate Course in Software Localisation from the University of Limerick, Ireland _ the world's only full-time year-long course on localisation. Mr. Ashok secured the top rank in a class of 70 participants. (During that period he also completed a three-month training course on the Alchemy Catalyst localisation tool at Alchemy's global headquarters in Dublin). In 2007 he took semester-length courses on terminology and language project management from Kent State University, Ohio, USA.
